Air Travel: 

Where possible, we recommend you fly into Monterey Regional Airport (MRY).  A 10-15 minute cab ride will get you to the hotel’s doorstep.  Flight plans in and out of MRY are sometimes fewer and more expensive, but the convenience of flying in and out of MRY is fantastic! 

San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO) airports are additional options and you may find a great number of cheaper fares and flight times at either of those locations. 

If you fly into San Jose (SJC) or San Francisco (SFO), Monterey Airbus can pick you up at the airport and drop you off 1 block away from the Monterey Marriott.  Your drop-off and pick-up location will be the Monterey Airbus Station on Calle Principal. 

Check www.montereyairbus.com for scheduled departure times. Advanced reservations are recommended. 

If you rent a car, you will be responsible for all costs including parking at the hotel.

The drive from San Francisco (SFO) to Monterey is approximately 125 miles (208 km), or two hours, and from San Jose (SJC), approximately 73 miles (117km), or an hour and a half.  Your drive time to Monterey could be over an hour longer, depending on traffic.
