Behind the scenes tours of Steinhart Aquarium at the
California Academy of Sciences
Registered RAW attendees are
invited to visit the Steinhart Aquarium and California
Academy of Sciences before
and after the conference. Please note that these tours are
being given as a professional courtesy to conference
attendees only. We’re sorry but we are unable to
accommodate family, friends etc.
Behind the scenes tours will be
offered on the following days and times:
Sunday 1 March 10:30am and
1:30pm
Friday 6 March 10:30am and
1:30pm
Saturday 7 March 10:30am
and 1:30pm
Please note that there will be
10 openings per tour, and we expect them to fill up quickly.
Tours will include
various holding rooms, life-support rooms, commissary, etc.
You will be able to explore the Academy public
floor before and after the tour.

Free Whale Watching!!
The
fine folks at Princess Monterey Whale Watching are offering
free whale-watching trips to RAW attendees!
On Friday, March 6th at 8:30am, we’ll be loading
up a RAW-exclusive vessel to head out on the bay for a 2.5
to 3 hour
whale-watching, sightseeing cruise. The pier and boat dock is an easy
walk from the Monterey Marriot. To reserve
your spot on the cruise, please email your RSVP and/or

charter the zodiac for a total of $200 for 2 dives.
3-5 divers can charter the zodiac for $80 each for 2 dives.
