Ever dream
of spending two days of learning and information exchange in the
hallowed halls of the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s jelly galleries? Then
Jelly School is for you!
As a RAW
warm-up, we will be hosting 12 lucky jelly husbandry professionals for a
two day seminar on how we manage our jelly collections at the Monterey
Bay Aquarium. Led by jelly gurus Michael Howard, Tommy Knowles and
Wyatt Patry, it’s sure to be jam-packed full of amazing information.
Jelly School 2015 is
designed for aquarists currently working with jelly collections
in a public aquarium facility. Our target audience consists
of aquarists with some prior jelly exhibit and culture experience who
are looking to expand their jelly husbandry skills, knowledge, and
experience.
E-mail Jelly School at

Jelly School Application and Registration Process:
In order to
provide the best experience possible for our Jelly School attendees,
we’ll be limiting our class size to 12 individuals. Because we expect
demand to outweigh available space, we’ll be selecting students through
an application and lottery.
·
Please complete
the
Jelly School application. You must have
Adobe Reader XI in order save your electronically completed
application (download Adobe Reader XI here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html)
Or, if you have technical difficulties opening the .pdf version of the
application, you can
to download it in MS Word format.
·
Jelly School
applications are due by November 7, 2014 and should be emailed
directly to
jellyschool@mbayaq.org
·
Once all of the applications have been
received and processed, we will select our class roster of 12 students
by November 14, 2014. Class invitations and a link to online course
registration and payment will be extended to selected students at that
time.
Good
luck! We look forward to your applications for Jelly School!
